We have community of around 100 residents, where 3-4 residents are not paying the regular monthly maintenance for several months. Ever after several request they are not ready to pay, but they are utilizing the water and other service community provide. This is a big concern from association and from other residents. Moreover, they are disrespecting the staff whoever trying to reach them for monthly maintenance.
Please help to cite to reach out for guidance to collect the money from them.
What are the measures we can take to collect the money.
Is there any legal way to do or through the help of police complaint?
Do we have permission to cut the water service to those defaulters?
A.Please follow the relevant provision in the Bye laws/regulations of the Association. In case no Association formed or registered under the relevant Act, contents of registered Deed of Conveyance where maintenance of common areas are clarified in details and take action accordingly.
