Landlord asking to increase rent after signing the new agreement Landlord asking to increase rent after signing the new agreement

I have taken flat on rent in Delhi. The rent agreed was 13000 per month. I had deposited the 5000 booking amount. After which landlord called and asked if he can renovate the flat. I said yes, the landlord started renovation and mean while he sent me the agreement which I have signed. Now after which he is saying that he is getting calls from other for rent in 14000 and as landlord has spend money on renovation he want me to give 14000 after 3 months of stay. If I don't follow he will send me a 1 month notice.
I want to know is it legal and can I challenge his notice in future.

A.Hi client,

You need to review the rent agreement that you have made with the landlord. If it includes any such clauses wherein he can ask you for such demands you cant do anything. In general, after agreeing in a LEAVE AND LICENSE agreement once agreed in the said monthly amount, no charges can be added before 11 months. Just let an advocate the review the same.

Thanks and Regards
