can i (wife) apply for divorce by mutual consent when my husband lives abroad and does not wish to come to india and represent himself in the court?

A.dear client in yur case NO. You can file suit for divorce by mutual consent but ask your husband to be present on the day of admission of suit.

A.It is better to consult a family Lawyer to take up the case with the family court and obtain a legal Mutual Consent separation, the Lawyer will arrange with your husband for early divorce.
