Speak to Your Neighbor:
In many cases, a friendly conversation with your neighbor can resolve the issue. Politely explain your concerns about the dust and debris entering your property and see if they can take measures to mitigate the problem, such as using water to suppress dust, erecting barriers, or scheduling construction work at times that are less inconvenient for you.
2. Contact Your Local Municipal Corporation:
If talking to your neighbor doesn't yield results, you can contact your local municipal corporation or city authorities. They may have regulations and guidelines in place for construction activities that need to be followed. You can visit or call your local municipal office to inquire about the process for registering a complaint related to construction dust and disturbance.
3. Environmental Department:
Some areas have specific environmental departments or agencies that handle complaints related to air quality and environmental issues caused by construction activities. You can check if your city or region has such a department and reach out to them to report the issue.
4. Pollution Control Board:
In some cases, you can contact the State Pollution Control Board or a similar authority responsible for regulating pollution. They may be able to provide guidance or investigate the issue if it involves environmental concerns.
5. File a Formal Complaint:
If informal approaches do not work, you can file a formal complaint with the relevant local authorities. You may need to provide specific details of the construction project, its location, and how it is affecting your property.
