We have property and there is property in a public trust name. Public trust proposes as to exchange the property as the property we have is in benefits of trust and the property that trust holds currently of no use. Is it possible to exchange the property
A.Dear Client
Considering the trust as a legal entity which wants to convey a property to another legal person it should be fine unless the trust is barred from conveying through its byelaws.

A.Dear Client,
According to the rulings of the Delhi High Court, trust property cannot be held, sold, mortgaged, or exchanged without the court’s prior approval. All trusts, public or private, are subject to this order.
