URGENT Some of Building Residents creating nuisance on terrace URGENT Some of Building Residents creating nuisance on terrace

I stay in a 7 floor building which has four flats on each floor and I am the only one occupant in the flat of the top floor. Some of my building residents continue to harass me and now I have got to know that they have planned a huge dinner party tomorrow night at the terrace where they have arranged for stoves, gas and all such things. As far as I know, fire and all such stuff on terrace is not permitted as it can cause a disaster. What can I do to stop them? There is no society in building & the owner does not take any interest. They refuse to use to the ground floor just to create nuisance and harass me.

A.Dear Client,
In this situation, it's crucial to prioritize your safety and take appropriate steps to address the potential hazards. Firstly, try to communicate your concerns directly with the residents planning the dinner party, expressing your apprehensions about the safety risks associated with stoves and gas on the terrace. Document your communication for reference. If they are unresponsive, consider checking any local regulations or building bylaws that may prohibit such activities on the terrace. If rules exist, bring this to their attention.
Given the absence of a society, you might want to reach out to local authorities, such as the municipal office or fire department, to report the potential safety violation. Provide them with details about the planned activities and express your concerns about the safety risks involved. If necessary, consult with a legal professional to understand your rights in this situation.
It's unfortunate that you are facing harassment, and seeking support from relevant authorities can help ensure a safer environment for everyone in the building.
Thankyou

A.Dear Client,
In the absence of a registered Society in a housing complex it is almost a common affair faced by many flat owners across the country. You can take legal action making a complaint to local police station and filing a suit for public nuisance against the errant and unrully neighbours of the housing complex, but it may make the matter more worse. So, try to compromise and settle the matter amicably to restore peacful co-existence.
