in a Cooperative housing society building most of the members have merged their balconies into a hall. So is this allowed? if not can BMC take action against this, under which section?

A.Dear Client,

A.Dear Client,
Any construction in the existing building that deviates from the norms of the approved building plan of the Municipal Corporation deserves legal as well as penal action under the state-specific Act and Building rules against the wrongdoer, once it is brought to the notice of the competent authority, i.e, the Municipal Corporation. Both Society and the flat owners would face legal action for such unauthorized construction.
