PG not registered PG not registered

I am staying in a PG from 2-3 Years paying monthly rent of 8500 online+ AC bill to the Staff appointed here. The pg is not registered and hence their is no bill or receipt of payment. All this transactions are done in Savings account of the person.
Is this against law or is it permitted, if it's against what are the charges that can be imposed.
Because If I have to later prove I was staying here for 2-3 years how will I prove.

A.Dear Client,

If a paying guest (PG) agreement specifies payment of fees through the PG owner's bank account, it serves as documentary evidence of your status as a PG resident. If this arrangement doesn't inconvenience you, there's no need for litigation. Mutually agreed arrangements cannot be unilaterally disputed by either party.

A.Dear Client,
If in PG agreement it is specially stipulated that payment of PG fees through the PG Owners Bank account, then it is documentary evidence that [rpves your staying there as PG and if this arrangement does not affect you in any way, then litigation is not called for. A mutually agreed arrangement cannot be disputed unilaterally by either party.
