Amount of time needed ?

How much time it takes for the police to expunge/dispose the case in police station if complainant is ready to give her statement/consent and affidavit mentioning she does not want this case to go any further investigation etc.
Already, FIR lodged, NBW issued, accused in HC for Anticipatory Bail.
But now complainant ready to finish the case.
A.Dear Sir,
Accuse may file anther application under Section 482 of CrPC for quashing of FIR along with affidavit of victim/complainant and thus it will come to an end within 30-60 days.

A.It depends upon whether it is a compoundable or non compoundable case for which sections of the case should be detailed.In compoundable case it is enough to file compromise petition by both parties and withdraw the case,but in non compoundable it is something different procedure by the way of evidences and other procedure.you have to contact lawyer for that
