Sale deed validation and correction

Can a plot be registered if the old plot number is correct and only old plot number is mentioned in sale deed and mutation but the new(survey) plot number is different can I register the plot according to the new plot number updated and make corrections in it later

A.This being a property matter becomes very difficult. So to avoid hassle people generally mention the history of the land and its distributions and divisions. It is advised to mention both the new and old numbers to avoid confusion.

A.Whenever a new plot or survey number is allocated then from then onwards whatever transaction or conveyance is done one has to mention that new number along with the old one. So, when you are going to register a sale deed mention the new number too along with the old one.
