Can a plot be registered if the old plot number is correct and only old plot number is mentioned in sale deed and mutation but the new(survey) plot number is different can I register the plot according to the new plot number updated and make corrections in it later

A.Dear Sir,
You must show both the numbers and get the numbers of the registering authority.

A.This being a property matter becomes very difficult. So to avoid hassle people generally mention the history of the land and its distributions and divisions. It is advised to mention both the new and old numbers to avoid confusion.

A.Whenever a new plot or survey number is allocated then from then onwards whatever transaction or conveyance is done one has to mention that new number along with the old one. So, when you are going to register a sale deed mention the new number too along with the old one.

Sir my question is if the new plot number was entered wrong can I first register the sale deed then do the corrections as the seller is in urgent need of money

Entered wrong in the internet record only plot number is wrong the name and area of plots are same as in deed and the deed is registered according to the old plot number and the new plot number is not mentioned neither in the deed nor in the mutation documents
