100 years of property 100 years of property

Hi Sir. My grand father had started a hotel business almost 100 years back. The hotel and the house attached to it was built in some village head's land. We have the receipt of initial payment made to rent the land. Later My grand father was not paying the rent to the owner. Instead he was serving free food to the servants of owner. Even till today my father is serving free food to owners servants as a token of rent. It's been almost 100+ years we stayed in the property. My father has some receipts which was taken at the time of renting the property. And owner of the property has already sold almost 70% of the property. We are left with only 30% of the property. My father is still running a hotel business in the same place and we have shifted to new house. So can we claim that property?? It's my first time talking to lawyer. I'm not sure if I have put everything in right words. Can anyone please help me.
