Dispute regarding rent Dispute regarding rent

I was taking flat on rent and she asked for token amount as 1 month rent (24000) which I paid online on 3rd Dec at 11 am. Then she was not giving modular kitchen and was too dominating so we decided not to take that flat within 1 day on 4th Dec 8 am. We told her that we don’t want to take that flat. She said okay and told us that she will return full money this weekend (by 7th Dec) as her flat is in great demand. She also told us that anyways she will give 50% back to us. Now she is very arrogant saying that I will not return anything as my flat has not gone on rent. I have not taken keys and has not lived a single day in that house. Please tell me how can we go ahead. Also no rent agreement was made as possession was not given
