I have lost my blank cheque with my valid signature on the cheque now somebody has misused the cheque by entering more amount and now the cheque is bounced. Can they file a cheque bounce case on me ?

A.your cheque lost at that time your duty to inform nearest police station or bank then you will be safe but after the bounce burden on your shoulder to prove it

A.if that person is known to you then yes, he can file case against you, otherwise he has no case against you.

A.1. you cannot take the plea that your signed cheque was stolen,
2. a defence in such cases can be advised on the basis of the complaint,
3. share the copy of the legal notice/complaint to have a detailed revert,

A.It's likely but you should have given police complaint regards loss of the subject cheque. In any case plz inform your bank too. If case is filed contest it to the fullest through good Lawyer. Cheque bouncing is a criminal offence which may entail fine and/or imprisonment too.
