Hello,I have 4 siblings (2 brothers including me + 2 sisters married). We have a property built by my father in early 1980. My father died in 1985 and also my died in year 2009. Now my family and my brother stays in house in two separate portion (not divided as such). I was doing some repair work in one of my room and my brother sent me a notice through court complaining that I only have authority for 1/4 of property and can't do anything without permission of all my siblings. I have below queries and thanks for your time in answering the same.
1. Do my sisters can/have claim in property2. What is the best way for me to handle this situation3. What should i reply to court

A.It'll have to be seen if relation between your father n sisters exists that for right to property. Unilaterally your brother doesn't have such case to prevent you. However documents will have to be seen. Plz contact through Vidhikarya
