Iam cheated by my friend one lakh, I have prommisary notes and cheques, but cheques was expired. How can I get solution

A.Dear Client,
You have 2 remedy as of now,
1) File an FIR with the nearest police station for offences like cheating, etc.
2) File a recovery suit and annex the cheques and promissory notes as the supportings.
