My mother's father died many years ago. He had one wife, 2 sons and 2 daughters. Now, his wife and his 2 sons are living in his house. Their family was not a registered joint hindu family. They are jains. Now , if my mom files case of partition deed of the land on which the house is built, Then, In how much % Share my Mom's mother has right when she is alive . AnD after her death , can my mother claim right in my mom's mother share which she got after mom's father death If she gave it to sons Before death ?

A.Dear Sir,
It all depends upon the total number of siblings and each sibling will get one share and children of such each sibling divide among themselves.

A.Your mother will get 1/5th share in the property left by your grand father and after your grandma's life, your mother is entitled to 1/4th share in the property left by your grandma.
