It's a good idea to make sure that the property you acquire is free of all legal encumbrances before it's turned over to you, so that you don't have any problems afterwards. First approach High Court to get quash such FIR as it is a family matter and forging of signature cannot be established unless there is expert report. Even then it cannot be established who forged such signature etc.

It will create some problem in future so it is better to get rectification deed in the same Sub-Registrar office and keep it with you for future reference. A small amount may be charged as stamp duty for such deed.
