A. Dear Sir,
Yes, you can file it as you have to maintain status equivalent to that of your husband as such yourself and your child get sufficient maintenance. Better file maintenance under Section 125 of Cr.P.C and seek interim maintenance which will be allowed on the date of filing itself.

icon Inheritance after grandfather's demise

If my grandfather and father started a business with equal partnership, after grandfather's demise, is my dad's brother eligible for 50% of the entire business or 50% of my grandfather's part in busin

A. Dear client,
When a person dies, their shares are equally divided amongst the family members unless mentioned otherwise in a will. Here, the grandfather's share (50%) will then be divided equally amongst both your father and your uncle. So, your father will have 75% of the total business and your uncle will have 25%.
Thank you.

A. Dear client,
You are under no obligation to go and give him the deed. You can tell him to come and collet it on his own, or get someone else to collect it for him. Since you are not forcefully withholding his deed, he also cannot initiate any legal action against you.
Thank you.

A. Dear client,
Filling a General diary with your local Police Station against your sister-in-law of the incident will be the best option for now. If possible record all conversations (voice, chat, email, letters, etc.) with those threatening and keep the originals in a safe place. It is advised not to produce the original evidence before anyone.
Thank You

icon 18 year old sister mentally harassing everyone in the family

My 18 year old sister is an extremely toxic person and has been aggressive for last couple of years, specially during lockdown. She had been making unreasonable demands which my parents can not afford

A. Dear Client
For these kinds of familial issues there are no codified direct laws which can guide you on what to do. Such situations are handled either by talking and discussing with the person or to take that person for a counselling.
