Can a social welfare case be filed in court free of charge?

A. Dear Sir,
It is called public interest litigation case (PIL) only before High Court of your State. Normally Rs. 100/- will be charged as Court fee but you have to hire high profile advocate otherwise if Court is not properly convinced then it will be dismissed by imposing heavy cost on the Petitioner that is the person who files such case.

A. Hi,
There is virtually little you can do to get your daughter back if she is beyond the age of 18 and has married of her own free decision. Furthermore, a legitimate marriage is one in which saptapadi and all other essential rites were conducted during the marriage. Your only option is to inform your daughter of your viewpoints and let her to make her own decision.
Thank you very much. Please give the answer a rating.

A. Hi,
You can bring a nuisance lawsuit. Another alternative is to file an action in the national green tribunal or a PIL in the High Court if the fumes are affecting the environment and a large number of people.

icon Can I renunciate my Indian citizenship without getting citizenship of other country?

I am a Indian national living in Mumbai. Can I renunciate my Indian citizenship without getting citizenship of other country?

A. As per Indian law, you can only give up your citizenship if you acquire the citizenship of any other country.

Moreover, even if it was possible to give up citizenship without acquiring another, under international law you would become a stateless person.

Being stateless has a lot of disadvantages - you'll have no legal protection, no legal identity, you won't be able to travel outside India, etc.

A. Hello, you can either contact the local government, such as the Sarpanch, and inform them of the problems that young children may face if the drain is built. If they refuse to comply, you should report them to the national green tribunal's zonal office. Another option is to file a Public Interest Litigation (PIL) in the High Court expressing environmental concerns.
Thank you very much.
