I want to change my white plate to taxi plate but it is financed by indusind bank, is it possible
Dear Client,
No, it is not possible at all and is impermissible under the law. The conversion of class or category of a vehicle from private to commercial, i.e, white to yellow, mandatorily requires permission/NOC from the Registering Authority under the Motor Vehicle Act i.e, concerned RTO/ARTO and since the vehicle is financed by the Bank, that conversion requires NOC from the financier because the vehicle was financed based on the class and category of the vehicle as appears in Registration C

Dear Client,
Unlike commercial vehicle operators, who possess yellow boards with black fonts, the self-drive car operators, must first register their vehicles as self-drive cars and obtain black number plates with yellow fonts. While only commercial driving license holders can drive the former vehicles, the latter can be driven by both commercial and non-commercial driving license holders. Dear client, if you have the certificate from the government hospital that you are fit for driving license then the RTO has to issue a driving license for you after all the required procedure has been done. If you want to prove that the certificate is original then go to the govt. hospital who issued the certificate and get a letter from the doctor regarding the issuance of certificate.
Even though the RTO is not accepting the certificate then your can file a writ petition in the high court.

As per section 47 of the Motor Vehicle Act 1988, if a registered motor vehicle is kept in another state for a period exceeding one year, the owner is obligated to obtain a new registration mark from the registering authority within the jurisdict
