LEGAL RIGHT OF GRAND CHILDREN LEGAL RIGHT OF GRAND CHILDREN

My late mother had a house which was registered in her name in 1972. She had 3 children. Myself (son) and two daughters. My mother had sold her house in 2000 for Rs. 7 lakhs. Since she was owner of the house, she alone had signed the sale deed. Out of 7 lakhs. She had given me 5 lakhs and one lakh each to both my sisters. I purchased an apartment in 2001 with that 5 lakhs. Now my sisters are silent but their children keep murmuring that Granny (ie) My mother had not distributed the money equally. I want to know will they create any problem for me in future.

A.Nothing to worry. The limitation is 12 years. So also there are other grounds to resist. If they file suit for partition they have make checkers for minimum 3-4 years in one court. It is the wish of the mother and she can distribute as she wish as it was her amount.
