I am living on a property for more than 17 years without having any legal notice from the owner and today owner came and told to leave property.Pls help me by telling my right on that property.

A.You don`t have any right over the property. you only have a right for a proper legal notice, and no option but to quit when owner asks.

A.You have perfected your ownership on it. It is called adverse possession. Go to civil court to protect your interest.

A.Your quarry is not clear, first have you in adverse property or in rent,lease or any terms, conditions or agreement. In all the aforesaid cases you have no right to the property. Better to consult a property lawyer from the panel of Vidhikarya for suitable advice,guidance & help.

If you have been paying rent duly for all these 17 years in that case you cannot be evicted.

A.If ur are in possession for more than 12 years then he can not evict u from the property but you should have proof that ur in the possession for more than 12 years. Need to see your legal notice for other remedies
