Dear sir, there is plot of 5000 sqft(Bangalore North) which is in panchayth khatha, we 3 of friends are planning to buy this by dividing among our self. Can we divide and buy? do we get individual khaths for dividends?

A.You have to ensure that the property is transferred and divided in individual share and also amended in the panchayth Khatha land records soon after you buy the plot to avoid hardship and unwanted expenses.Better to consult a property Lawyer to guide & help you & protect your interest.

A.There is no problem for you to later get individual khatas for the divided portions. Your present problem would be to divide and buy from the present owner who has to co-operate with you to your whatever scheme you prepare.
