Cheques bounced
I received 30 cheques against the cancellation of my property booking. 1st cheque cleared in Feb 2020. But after that 6 cheques are bounced due to insufficient funds in their account.

A.Actively deal in cheque bounce/ 138 NI Act cases.
First step is Legal Notice, it is mandatory. Need to know the date of bouncing cheques. The legal notice is to be sent within 30 days, but due to Corona, there has been extension of that deadline from 15th March.
Need to know details so we can figure out the solution.

A.Hi you issue notice demanding cheque amount and if amount not received then proceed for filing case.
Pls note you have to issue notice within 30 days of receiving of bounce memo from bank. Then 15 days notice period after that within 30 days you have to file case.
