My grandparents own a flat that was never transferred to their legal heirs (7 children). They did not provide any nomination nor did they have any will created. Their children are now trying to transfer the ownership in their name. However as 6 out of the 7 siblings stay outside Thane, they are not available for all legal formalities. Hence it was decided that all siblings will provide a power of attorney to one of them to be able to proceed with legal formalities. To ensure that there is no foul play while nominating one person to deal with legalities, what points should be incorporated in the POA so that there is no loss suffered by any of the siblings.
