Can my wife file a false DV & Dowry case against me & what should I do if they threatening to do so.

A.threatening false case itself is crime but threatening case is not a crime.
collect evidence for threats of false case.
Women have all the rights to file DV & Dowry cases.
You can not stop it but you have to take anticipatory bail immediately and then cases will be on merits.

A.Just have evidence .when she threatened you.and file a complaint about your wife in police station .if police didnot take any action.then approachbto court and file 156(3)

A.Dear Sir,
She will definitely file such cases. As a preventive measure he may file Section 9 of HMA Act for Restitution for Conjugal Rights if she not residing with you. Further you may obtain anticipatory bail if FIR is lodged. DV case is a weak case and you need not bother about it.

Your wife have every right to file a DV and Dowry case as per law, you shall submit the defence from your side to prove your innocence of the allegations made by your wife
