Is it necessary to appoint two lawyers in a divorce case representing both the parties ? If the divorce is with mutual consent.

A.its matter of trust.
if both parties can trust same lawyer then 1 lawyer can also do it.
Many times both parties dont trust lawyer appointed by opposite side.
We did mutual divorces with single lawyer and with two lawyers also and even sometimes second lawyer help is taken for petition only because its the most important thing in mutual divorce.

A.Dear client, Individual lawyer itself enough on my view they do small documents process and two to three hearing in court of law, If you feel difficulty with lawyer you can have another lawyer but fees go high or double. Regards NITHYANANDAN.S
