my husband sent divorce papers through speed post but i didnt receive those from where and how can i get those divorce papers my inlaws are not giving copy of those divorce papers if i consult a lawyer will lawyer will be able to get those divorce papers from my inlaws and my husband after his visa process finalised he sent divorce papers from child birth till now my husband is in qatar only he left his hyderabad job and went qatar i came to know recently that my husband got married and had two kids both kids got expired if husband marries again will he get custody of my girl child she is 4 years now. If woman marries she loses custody what if man marries again? according to muslim law please advise me i dnt have money also to consult a lawyer will lawyer help me to get copy of those divorce papers which was sent through speed post in 2017. My inlaws said divorce is final over done we have given according to sharia how to check i have right to know whether am divorced r not.

For a divorce proceeding to be considered legal in law you should be given a copy of the divorce and only after negotiation and your consent the final divorce can happen. Since this has not happened in the present case, your marriage is still intact in law.
