Hi we have bought a house a 30 years ago from a person who got awarded in govt scheme. We have not done any power of attorney or any other legal documents to convert in our name.
After 30 years still that house is in the name of that person in the govt record, so how can we convert on our name??
since that person is also not available now.

This is exactly why transfer of title is very important to seal the agreement. If you have any documents showing that you were supposed to get the house and the payment is done, then talk to a lawyer. Go to the revenue office and get the records updated. If not, immediately try to get in contact with the person.

How exactly did you buy the house without any documents showing that you are the owner? It will be very difficult to convert it under your name. Your best possible solution is to find the person. If atleast the registration of the property is done, then you can visit the local revenue office and get the records updated to your name.
