One flat was purchased by my parents, now as my both parents are no more and I want to put my name as the legal heir. But the housing society is not responding. So what is the legal route and how to get my name register for the property

A.Hi,
You will need to obtain a succession certificate from your local taluk or tahsildar's office, it will be issued to you after you provide the necessary documents proving that you are in fact, the legal heir of your parents. You can then obtain a mutation certificate to have the apartment transferred to your name.
