Family house to transfer on daughter's name
3 years ago
My dad past away in Dec 2010. My mother and brother with his family (his wife and daughter) continued to leave in the same house after my dad's demise. House was transferred to my mother's name with my brother and myself as nominees. Due to long time torture and mental harassment, my mother finally asked my brother and his family to leave this house in May 2020. My brother then shifted to another house of ours, which my dad purchased on his name long back and he is currently leaving in that house with his family. And my mom is leaving alone in our family house. Since my brother solely got this second house now, my mother wants to transfer our family house solely on my name (her daughter). Though my brother is claiming on this first house as well. (1/3rd claim)
How my mother can transfer this family house solely on my name ( her daughter) ? Can she do that by writing a will ? Or what legal procedure needs to follow ? Please advice.

Yes she can do so by writing a will, moreover, a gift deed could also be executed.
You can do so by two ways, i.e. either by will or by executing the gift deed.
