I got Khula from my wife last month through the mosque community(Kerala), But my marriage got registered in Kerala Panchayat. How to cancel the registration in Panchayat and how to remove her name from my passport. Is that mosque committee/girls letter is enough or do we need to follow some process.

A.Yes, that is enough to remove her name in your passport. One more thing there should be seal and signature of the committee's president and secretary.

A.Hi,
You will also need to approach family Court to obtain the relevant documents legitimizing the divorce, in addition to making an announcement in the gazette/local newspaper. A letter from the girl will not be enough to finalize the separation.

A.Hi,
You will need to obtain a certificate from your local family Court detailing the divorce. Just the girl's letter is not sufficient.
