Claim ancestral property Claim ancestral property

Hi I would like to claim my share of property from my dad but he is refusing. I’m 34 years old. I’m married and settled in Australia. My father has a second family and is trying to give the property to my step sisters and step brother. My siblings aren’t ready to make a claim. But I would not want to leave my rights. I want to know if there’s a way to claim my share as I won’t be a blow to travel to India due to COVID-19

A.Hi,
You are entitled to an equal share of any ancestral property. You can file a suit for partition of the property.

A.Hi,
You can file a suit for partition. As a legal heir, you are entitled to the same shares of ancestral property as your stepsiblings.
