Illegal possession of site Illegal possession of site

My Late Father in law had purchased a 60x40 site in Gram panchayath area in 2010-11 and he registered the site in sub registrar office.
The site was allocated to first owner by Government of Karnataka under 25th Freedom celebration scheme in 1975-76. We have the original Hakku Patra for the site.
We have all the legal documents related to that site and we are paying the tax for that site in Gram panchayath.
Now the site was illegally occupied by some person and he is claiming its ownership.
We gave a written complaint to Gram panchayath regarding same in 2019 but till no action was taken.
I need advice on how to proceed further.

A.Hi,

You can issue a final warning to the illegal occupant asking him to vacate the land. If he refuses, you may seek guidance from a lawyer to initiate legal proceedings against him.
