I m married blessed with a baby boy 6 months back live with my parents , but however parents wants to sell property we are living in but i dont , i want to live toghther with parents , they want to live seperate , they have savings for their retirement , how can i let them not sell the property , please suggest

A.Hi,
They have rights over it if the property is in their name. They can sell it whenever they wish to. Legally they are not obligatory to maintain you with your family. But you can convince them to not take such actions if you want to resolve the matter without legal intervention and the problem can be solved amicably.
A stay order can be passed with the help of the court, if you want to stop them from selling the property.

A.Legally you cannot stop your parents from selling off their property which is self acquired by them and you cannot even claim your share in the same hence I advice you settle this matter amicably with your parents requesting them and making them under your financial concern
