If i want a divorce from my husband, but i dont have a place to live separately for a year, can I still file for a divorce?

A.Hi,
File an application for interim maintenance under Section 125 CrPC. You can use this to find alternative accommodation.
If you do not wish to do so, you can ask the Court to continue to stay in your old house.

A.Hi,
Yes, you can request to be allowed to continue residing there.
Alternatively, you can file for interim maintenance under Section 125 CrPC and use this to rent another house.

A.As per law nothing can stop woman from residing in the house of her husband till such time of final orders in the divorce matter are passed even if she herself has applied/filed for divorce. However practically this may not be a good option in every case and depending on the matter if the divorce is a contested matter it may affect the credibility of your case before the Court.
