I have a land with my house. Property named still with father. He died long back. I have 2 sister, Both are married before 1956. Are they eligible for claim my father property? I am from West Bengal, Kolkata. Staying under municipality zone.

A.Yes the sisters are eligible to claim as per Hindu Succession Amendment Act of 2005 irrespectively that they are married or born prior to 2005 or father died long back, if the property has not been disposed off or sold or partitioned before 20-12-2004.
