I am a Christian women. My great grandfather had a will and according to it the daughters cannot claim right over property.
Now the property is on sale and my brother does not want to give me equal share. Can i claim my share in the property.

A.Hi,
You can have the will probated to determine its legitimacy. If your great grandfather was the sole owner of the property, then he has the power to dispose of his property in any way he deems fit.

A.Hi,
If you doubt the authenticity of the will, then you can challenge it in Court. However, if the will is valid, you cannot file a claim for a share of the property unless it was jointly owned along with other members of the family.
