Hydraulic Car parking Hydraulic Car parking

Hi, I have been allotted car parking in the basement which can accommodate a single standard car park. Due to the need for another car parking, I would like to install a hydraulic car parking system to accommodate 2 cars in the same car parking allotted to me. However, please note the apartment above my car parking is not mine and power required for hydraulics needs to be drawn from my house situated at 1st floor. Is it legally allowed to build hydraulic car parks to convert a single car park to two car parks even though it is allotted to me? Note: our building is a 4 floor building with basement parking in the Bengaluru BBMP area.

A.Hi,
You will need to seek approval from the apartment authorities as well as the Bengaluru Development Authority before commencing any construction.

A.Hi,
You will need to obtain approval from both your building's association and the Bengaluru Development Authority for the same.
If the same is granted, you can go ahead with the construction.
