Removal of my younger brother name from the joint ownership of the Aptmnt, Delhi
3 years ago
This is continuation to my earlier question, some Lawyers has suggested about getting a release deed executed from my Brother. But I wanted to share that it is not a inheritance ancestor property, this property has been alloted by DDA in my Name (Primary owner) and my Brother (Secondary owner). Also, will the release deed would involve any transaction to be made / show in favour of my brother.

A.Hi,
In your case, as your brother is the secondary owner, he is an interested party to the property.
Therefore, it is advisable for you to get a release deed.
