My father in law has no boy child. He has 2 younger brothers and 2 sisters(both married)
One brother and sister denying to divide property. How my father in law can get his own share legally.? Do we need to file partition suit in civil court. How long does procedure take to complete? What is effective of doing this?

A.Dear Sir,
You can file a suit for partition of property. The property will be divided among all brother sister equally and this is a only legal way your father in law can have his property and can further transfer it to you or any other person as he thinks fit.

A.Yes there is no other option than to file a partition suit and I cannot comment on the timeline but usually it takes around 1 year or so.
