I hv married for 19 yres. My daughter is 18 yrs. Old
from last 4 yrs. My husband is jobless. His only income source is earning money from plsying rummy. I m running home based business. He drinks daily. We hv no sexual relationship from last 6 yrs. He stopped it without giving me any reason.
Can i get a divorce
I can take care of food and clothing and shelter of my daughter. But can't earning enough to pay for her education. Will the court make it compulsary for him to take care of her education?
A.Hi,
You seek divorce on the ground of cruelty. The father is liable to pay maintenance for the upkeep of the daughter, but subject to the fact that he is not earning., so how can he pay for the education.

A.You can definitely file for divorce on the ground of cruelty but since you yourself said he is jobless I doubt if he can afford your daughter's educational expenses but you can certainly ask for it and the court will impute job on him since he is able built and can fetch some livelihood.
Consult a lawyer and file the case of divorce and maintenance can be filed by your daughter which she can claim from her father as well since she is unmarried.

A.yes, you can take divorce for cruelty, no cohabitation for 6 yrs.
