A.Hi,
You can get the half share of the property of your mother's name and half share will be given to your father. You can also get the share of the ancestral property. Your father is liable to pay you the maintenance till you are not married. If any will was made by your mother regarding the property then the division will be according to the will.
If you find this helpful, please rate my answer. You can further reach out to me for a detailed discussion. Thank you.

A.Hi,
You can file for partition of the property of your mother, you will get the half of the property of your mother and other half will be given to your father. If your parents have an ancestral property then you can have the share in that property also. If there is any will made by your mother regarding property then it will be divided according to the will. Father is liable to maintain her daughter until she gets married, so you can ask for maintenance.

A.Hello,
For your information your father is bound to maintain his daughter till she gets married.
Coming to the question related to property you should get, depends upon who is/was the owner of the property of which you're claiming your share.
1. if the said property was purchased by your father in his name itself, then it is his self acquired property and it is upto him how he wants to dispose it.
2. if the said property is an ancestral one, it means that your father got the property through his ancestors, than you have a share in it.
3. if the said property was in the name of your mother than, you have a right over one half of the share of your mother after her death as per the law.
for an appropriate advice i would require the details of the property on which you want to claim your share.
