My marriage has been struggled from day 1 even it was love marriage (intercultural marriage). My husband never respected me , questioned my character every now and then , mentally abused me , never cared for me , demanded and took full control on my earnings for 1 year and then kicked me out of the same home building which I gave my full 1 year salary. I tried to end it before also and somehow managed to stay away from him for 1 year but being in same office , he didn't let me know again and we came back again together. But after 2 years of coming back together or after 8 years of marriage , i still feel i am at level zero in my marriage. No mental peace, no love , no care , no respect and no financial support ( except first year of marriage when i was not working , i can't ever forget that worst first year of dependent , scared , depressed wife) .
Being a working women , I am now strong and independent and really want to end this marriage once for all. I don't have any kids and not financially dependent on my husband because he never supported me financially . He told me that he doesn't want to have any kids with me because kids will also become like me . That was kind of end of everything for me in this marriage.
I feel my case is really strong and any good passionate lawyer would be able to help me through it. I have gone through a lot and now i really want to put this marriage behind me soon. So any suggestions , any help or guidance will be highly appreciated.

don't forget to draft an MOU before approaching #Mutual Divorce, which is the most essential and important part of a Divorce case to avoid/reduce #future legal complications,
some basic points to keep in mind and put in writing through an #MOU before filing the #petition for mutual consent divorce are #custody of kids, #distribution of assets (movable/immovable), #quash/withdraw of pending litigation if any, #Maintenance (present/future), #Alimony, mode and time of making the payment, #streedhan, #future litigation, etc.

It is quite obvious from your narration that your husband has mentally tortured you over the years. This cruelty can be a ground for divorce as per S.13(ia) of the HMA. You can issue a legal notice to him seeking divorce and you may also consider filing a suit before the Family court.

Your husband seems to have put you through mental agony and cruelty which is a ground for divorce as per S. 13(ia) of the HMA. You can issue a legal notice to him seeking divorce and you may also file a suit before the family court.

if he agree then go for mutual divorce which is easy and fast.
else there are ways to make him agree for mutual divorce.
