A partition suit to be filed in the State where major properties are situated and get it compromised.

A.Apply in court for succession certificate in favour of legal heirs. Legal heirs by mutual consent can divide among legal heirs. If properties cannot be divided then property shall be sold and sale proceed can be divided.

A.Hi,
First you need to file a suit for succession before the court and when you finally get your legal heir certificate a per Indan Succession Act, then you may visit the registrar's office in the states and accordingly change the ownership.

A.Hi,
You will need to file a succession suit before the court first. When you get the legal heir certificate, you will accordingly need to visit the states and change the ownership at the registrar's office.

A.This kind of properties put the legal heirs into the trouble as jurisdiction becomes the issues here. Since the property is distributed in multiple state choose a state and file a case in one of state's HC and seek extra-jurisdictional power of the HC to pass order for the other state properties or seek guidelines from the HC on those properties. The HC will show you the path
