A.Yer, The wife is one of the legal heirs as per S.8 of the Succession Act and comes under the Class I heir. It depends whether the husband and wife in your case had a child or other legal heirs. It also depends on the will that the husband left,

A.Hi,
The fact whether the wife is the sole heir to her husband's property depends on the number of surviving members of the family. She is one of the heirs as per the Indian Succession Act and belongs to Class I.

A.Hi,
As per S.8 of the Indian Succession Act, the wife is also one of the legal heirs and comes under Class I heir category. Whether or not the wife is the only legal heir of the property in your case depends on whether they had a child or if the husband left behind a will listing the heirs to the property.
