Dowry case threats Dowry case threats

I asked for divorce from my wife and now her parents are threatening for false dowry case.
We are married for just over an year and don't have a kid. Most of my family members are government employees including me so my parents are worried and asking me to live in a compromised state for forever. What can I do to protect all of our jobs as everyone's in fear of losing their jobs and spending time in jail just because of a false case

A.Dear Sir
You may get anticipatory bail before filing FIR and it is very hard to get divorce by husband within such short period of marriage. Please take wise decision.

A.- She have to prove her allegations
- Your Job will not be in danger until case decides against you
- So if you not took dowry or done anything then no need to worry, but consult good lawyer
- If you can get evidence of threats of FLASE cases then you can file FIR on her for threatening for false cases.

A.First of all, to have your job secured let the local police station know about harassment to you by your wife and in-laws. Serve the copy of the letter to the higher authority such as Superintendent of Police.
If you have not taken any dowry neither demanded so, then you need not worry but you should surely let the local police station know about the threatenings.
Regarding divorce you need to discuss elaborately regarding the grounds, if any.

A.Hi,
In the form of recordings or discussions, try to get actual evidence of these threats from your wife's family. Talk to your wife about settling the issue and getting a divorce by mutual consent. Also, file a statement with the police about the fake case threats.

A.Hi,
Make an amicable resolution with your wife to end the conflict. Also threatening to file a fake case is deemed as mental cruelty. You should file a formal statement with your local police station right away, indicating that your wife and her family are threatening you with a fake Dowry case.

A.Wherever you stay submit a GD to the local police station stating the fact the your are being harassed in the name of dowry cases.
Also, if you have not taken any thing in the name of dowry like cash or money transfer in bank from them then no need to worry too much about the case.

A.Even dowry case has to be proved even if it is filed so you don't really need to fear but anyhow considering your case since you have not specified the reason for divorcing your wife I would suggest you to either settle the differences with your wife and start fresh or you may try to convince your wife for divorcing you by mutual consent and for her satisfaction and good life you can offer her a good one time alimony and/or a house if possible.

I hope you found this advice helpful. Thank you.
