A.Dear Sir
You may get certified copies of such papers from the same court and you may ask any local advocate online.

A.Hello,

You can approach to the record room (Almad Room) of that Court, from where you got the divorce. Tell them date of order/Judgement and Title of the case. They will let you know the case no./ Judgement no.. Then file a certified copy. But due to pandemic situation in the country, mostly courts are suspended for regular work till the further order.

It's better and trouble free to hire/engage a lawyer in this regard.

Thanks with regards

Nishant Singh (Adv)

A.it can be assumed that you contacted your lawyer but was unsuccessful.
Many states allow search by name, then it will be easy to get case details and get papers.
But if your state does not allow to search by name then a lawyer have to search manually to get case details.

A.Hi,
The simpler way is to call your lawyer and obtain information on the case diary number, etc. from him. If he is unable to obtain any information, you can request that he search the court records for the case using the party name or the month and year in which it was filed, and then obtain a copy of the judgement and decision from the court.

A.Try to get in touch with your lawyer ans for a copy of he has one or else look for one in the ecourts yourself.
If both of them does not work then send some one to the court to to get a copy. Since you do not have the case no. hence it will take time and effort but you will get the copy.

A.Well I guess you had a contact with your the then lawyer but it was of no use. You have three ways to have solution of your problem. First, ask any Ld. Advocate to approach the Court in which your case was dealt with and ask the Court if they had their cases registered online on or before 2014. If so, then search for your case by the name of parties of the herein mentioned case. Secondly, you may ask any Ld. Advocate to search the case filing diary of the respective court for the year on which the case was filed. If you can recall the month and year of filing of the case then you can easily have the case details. The third procedure is time taking. I would ask you whether you remember any of the dates fixed for hearing of the herein mentioned case? If so, then contact a lawyer and ask him to search for the case on those dates in the causelist of the respective court. Any common case number found may be searched for. This is the ultimate solution.
Hope you have your problem solved and live a happy married life.

A.You can contact your lawyer. His software should possess your case details. Any how otherwise you can go to the department of the concerned Court and apply for certified true copy of the Judgement and decree passed in your divorce matter but you will require your case number which you will get from the Court department if you request them and tell the names of the parties etc. However it would be easier if you contact the lawyer who handled your matter and discuss this issue.

I hope you found this advice helpful then please provide review and give*****. Thank you.
