Alumni and maintenance of child

Hi,I am planning for divorce,my huseband is having nothing what I can claim as alumni,all the properties are on my father in law's name,I have 1 child who is 9 months old, currently I am staying with with my parents,so can 8 claim something from my father in law's property as alumni or fir maintenance of my child??

A.You can claim maintenance from your husband.
You can claim residence right from father in law.
no other property rights can be claimed as of current position.

A.Hi,
Unfortunately you cannot claim maintenance and alimony from your father-in-law till the point that his property is inherited by your husband. As per the Hindu law, a widow is eligible to claim maintenance from her in-law. However as an alternative you can try filing suit for alimony u/S 125 CrPC in your divorce proceedings

A.Hi,
Only a widow can claim maintenance from her father-in-law as per the tenets of Hindu law. You would have to wait till your father-in-law decides to divide his property and then you can claim alimony and maintenance from your husband.

A.You can not claim directly from his father''s property but can point towards his share in the property which can be taken into consideration to pay you the alimony.
