SLP is purely discretionary power of the SC. It is up to the OP to establish their case that there exists a substantial question of law, which requires the intervention by the SC. OP can challenge the verdict of unsound mind, but they will have to establish their challenge.

A.Hi,
SLP is the discretionary power of the SC, whether anything can be accepted unless it is explicitly barred by any statute or enactment. OP can challenge it under SLP if valid question of law is raised by them.

A.When you ask question with limited information you may not get proper answer. You should give full details to get better answer. SLP is a discretionary power of higher court to allow to a petitioner in an appeal so that all the cases where law is to be discussed can be mooted and discussed.

A.SLP is discretionary power of the supreme court and anything and everything unless statutorily barred is entertainable under SLP. You already got a unsoundness of mind declared that might weigh with the SC but the OP can challenge that decision in the upper forum as well.
